I have been looking into CMS's and all the people I talk to tell me to check out Drupal for our needs. What we are looking for is a CMS that will give us the following options:
news stories, image gallery, link bin, events calendar, FAQ management, and a newsletter
Hi there Drupal members,
I'm seriously thinking about using Drupal - it looks very mature (though I still wait for the 4.7 ecommerce....)
* Is it\ Will it be possible to add comments to a product - I guess the same way Amazon allows user to rate and add comments?
Thanks,
Amitai
Needing to put up a company website pretty quickly. It probably needs only 5 or 6 pages. No idea which version of Drupal to use... but heard someone say that 4.7 is better.
Questions, since I'm only used to working with and altering web pages in a text editor... tweaking SQL code and whatnot:
1> really stupid Can a logo be easily added?
2> The user/name login box I see on most "themes" (if that's what they're called).. can this be removed from a homepage and put only on a specific, interior page?
I am looking for a website builder/management tool that will enable users to create a free website and then be able to upgrade later if they'd like to add more functionality. When I saw that Drupal supports multiple sites with one installtion I thought it might be just what I'm looking for, but I have some specific questions.
- Does Drupal have an automated web builder module that would allow people to register and create a site with a URL like mainsite.com/sites/clientsite without any set-up required by the main site administrator?
