how can I check which mysql-privileges I have. ... Without having access to the database mysql (mysql:db)
I tried to install Drupal on my local system with the Alter_priv='N' - and it was installing well without saying anything. In the system requirements is said that I need privileges to: SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, CREATE, DROP, INDEX, ALTER, CREATE TEMPORARY TABLES, LOCK TABLES
So I think drupal is not testing if I have the privileges. How can I check them? Without seeing the database mysql or asking the admin of mysql?
I have now built, broken and fixed about a half dozen Drupal sites in the last 2 weeks or so. Versions include 4.7, 5.0 and 5.1. I'm ready (I hope) to proceed with the development of a production site. The production site will use a number of modules which are not yet available for Drupal 5.x (and one for which no 5.x port is planned).
The improvements to the Admin interface in 5.x are desirable enough to me that I want to "run" my site under 5.x.
The modules I need 4.7 to use relate mostly to the initial creation of content, so I plan to:
Hi, I have just spent a day or so developing my first drupal site, (finding it very good so far) I would like to be able to develop one site then recreate it several times on differnet domain names for different clients. Is there a way to do this without rebuilding it each time?
I was using drupal and then i moved the folder, and i started using a different CMS but now i switched back and...its not really working how i want. All the new "Stories" i create are only viewable to me, but its ONLY THE NEW ONES. Now for some reason users cant post forum topics, well they can, but only i can see them, with the new stories, the same thing happens, only I can see them when logged in of course.
Whats wrong? And yes i just ran a cron job.
