Before you start

I was using drupal and then i moved the folder, and i started using a different CMS but now i switched back and...its not really working how i want. All the new "Stories" i create are only viewable to me, but its ONLY THE NEW ONES. Now for some reason users cant post forum topics, well they can, but only i can see them, with the new stories, the same thing happens, only I can see them when logged in of course.
Whats wrong? And yes i just ran a cron job.

Hello I have been messing around with 4.7 for a while should i use version 5? I am asking because alot of the mods I wanted to add to my new site are only for 4.7 and they are not for version 5. What do you guys think is there anyway to fix the bugs in 4.7?

As the topic title states I would like to use Drupal for a video game site with user reviews. I'm thinking that I should be able to add the games myself, but the users should be able to write user reviews (connected to specific game) with a rating, so that other users might get the average score on a game they are looking for. It would also be nice if they were able to search/browse games by genre or platform.

Anyway, I dont have any experience with CMS whatsover. The new project is a community of 50 students, who would be uploading: Images, videos, lectures, assignments, text content (poetry etc) and also a discussion forums.
