Hello all.
I have the following questions:
I want to use Drupal as a mini CMS system, so I want to add articles in different categories and have a navigation that is automatically updated, if a new article in the specified category is added. Can this be done with Drupal plz?
Also I would like to hear about the speed of the forum. I plan to use it for everal hundred users online at the same time, can this be handled with this forum? Any specifications about a load tests done yet?
After days of due diligence, I have made a decision to commit to using Drupal for a social networking site. I am also a Joomla user (great webware but weak in social networking) and it has served me well in making a good information website.
I have read many posts on social networking sites on this forum and perhaps I may have missed some posts on starting a social networking from ground zero.
Our limited budget only allows us a single database server. Is there an efficient way to do content exporting or caching so that the server automatically (or manually) gives static content rather than the dynamic site in the event the database is unreachable?
I need to configure a multi-language site. I have brief experience with i18n and none with Localizer. I've read on a forum topic from January 2007 conflicting opinions about which module to go with. I've compared the feature lists of each one and I can't really tell a huge difference at first glance. Could anyone please comment on the differences and advantages/disadvantages between the two modules. I would appreciate it.
We have an existing web site built in html but there are a number of sections (eg. News) that we would like to be content managed.
There are a couple of questions here:
Is it possible to bolt-on DRUPAL to the backend and then,
Is it possible to create sections within existing web pages that display the News stories submitted via the CMS?
