i m new to drupal , i want to make a site with article type in content according to categories ,so readers can read and comment tht articles or vote for rating ,
i want to show that categories block in right or left side in some hierarchy
like a tree as usual

i hv no idea how to do it in drupal , plz give me links of some sites who r using drupal and looks like articles sites in anyway ,

any special module or way to do it ,

i just want a block( may be in navigation menu ) which shows post/articles according to there category , in expanded and contracted mode like here in user block

afterall i m newbie to drupal and this is my first post here
i can run vbb , phpbb, php nuke etc etc ,
but at first this is bit confusing for me to run a drupal site
at present i m running drupal on my pc for testing and learning
i m learning how to manage and other things before a live site

1. Two load balanced servers
2. One database server
3. One development server

For a long time i have been a joomla user not because i think drupal is any less.. I just chose to use joomla and learn it.
