I'm looking for a classified ad module that allows a picture, or two, and can be searched. For instance pet classifieds - search by animal, male, female, breed, etc. I've looked at ed_classifieds, but you have to use another module for the image, and the image won't get deleted when the ad does - if I understand what I've read...
I'm new to Drupal, and would have no idea how to string together different modules to acheive my desired effect.
I was wanting to know if I could install drupal on say; 74.52.58.82/~myname and then when the dns from my domain name is updated change the url installation information to myname.com . The file path would stay the same for example home/myname/public_html ..
I am wanting to build a local community site for the town that I live in. I would like for it to have some of these features and would like to know if Drupal would be my answer. I have looked at PostNuke and WordPress but just have not liked the over system in PostNuke and WordPress seems a little basic. Thanks for your time.
Hello everybody, I just found drupal while looking for a module of some sort that I could add to my social networking site that would allow members to contribute specific content to their specific expertise and yet would allow members who wish not to contribute view the content. Is this possible with drupal? I first thought of wikipedia when this idea popped into my head. I read that that drupal could be set up like a book and selected members could have access to the contribution side of the house.
I've used Drupal before, and I wanted to know if it would be a viable solution for my next project. I wanted to design a networking site for a certain niche of professionals. In this site, I would like them to direct forums on their own, have private messaging, be able to post bios and/or resumes to their bio. In addition to this, I would like users to be able to invite friends, co-workers, and colleagues to use the site as well. Another part of the site is that I would like to have professional information passed along from me and other people in the profession back to the users.
should i uppload drupal-6.x-dev and then andreas03 to get the Andreas03 theme to a webpage ?
Im new to this so any help will be apritiated.
