I have a forum site which I don't think I need a CMS of any kind for it. I do have one "problem" I'm trying to solve and I thought maybe Drupal might be a solution.
Hello there. I work for a construction company and we currently use a plain old FTP site for sharing specific project documents between our company employees and the various builders, architects and subcontractors. I have heard that a CMS system such as Drupal would give me a lot more options with sharing files and just generally spiff up the whole process. With the current FTP set up, I create a new FTP account and a new folder for each project so that only certain people can access the different projects.
Have a problem with the forum. The navigation around the forum works create. right menu is active and the right breadcrumbs is showing up.
But when I visit the a node (node-forum.tpl.php) the breadcrumbs disappear and the menu don't get the -active class anymore. Looking at drupals forum it doesn't do this. shouldn't it be the same as drupal 5.2?
I have just installed latest PHPBB 3 RC 4. I just one to confirm if i install DRUPAL as my CMS, is it possible to integrate the forum with drupal. Any working bridge available for the drupal and phpbb 3.
I'm building a website for my sporting club (www.wcpirates.com.au) and am looking at both Joomla! and Drupal. I have designed another site with J! so it's a known quantity but I wasn't all that impressed with it..
I currently use wordpress for blogging and Joomla (pile of sh!t) for my members section and forum. (http://www.nicekicks.com)
I was wanting to continue to use Wordpress for blogs, but i want to add articles and features that appear on the same page as the news and quickly learned that a CMS is what I need. Instead of using the POS Joomla board, I want to use phpbb.
