I have many lists/tables that I would like to be able to edit/update directly within Drupal. Is it possible to do the following in Drupal ...

2. Have this entered data persisted (saved to the database e.g. MySql)
3. Allow users to view, query, and sort the entered data
4. Allow users to edit existing data via the data entry forms
Will I lose some features of Drupal 6 (in particular in the case of block caching) with these versions of PHP and MYSQL comparated to 5.xx versions of both ?
