I have virtually no permissions to my site when I log in as User 1. I can't create or edit content. Under User Management I only have access to Access Rules. Under Site Building, I only have access to Blocks, ImageCache and Contact Form and a couple other modules, but no access to Modules. If I try to use the Administer "By Module" link, I get a fatal error message about memory being exceeded. I only have access to 5 modules under Site Configuration. So out of all the modules installed on my site, the Site Administration page only displays 13 modules.
I'm looking to upgrade my holiday let website and have been thinking (longing) of switching to Drupal for this. However Joomla has a particularly good holiday let site module called JomRes which does everything from availability calendars, Google maps, to integration with payment gateways. I've looked but can't find an equivalent for Drupal. Am I being blind, is there one?
Hi,
I feel like this question is probably answered somewhere but I can't find it.
I want to make a Bof session at drupalcon London? What do I do? Is it something on the day? How do I advertise that this Bof is available? Is there somewhere i can see a list of the bof that are already planned.
I am still in development on multiple drupal sites that will each have a small amount of content and a small number of users who rarely use each site. I've done a multisite install and expect to have a 50-100 sites or more in a virtual server with 512MB of RAM. Since I would be surprised if we got more than 100 users per day at the very maximum; traffic will not be an issue.
I noticed a lot of people are interested to integrate the popular skimlinks with their drupal sites to earn some money. Although there is a skimlinks plugin for wordpress and drupal should have a module for this great bucks machine, yet I could not find any such module. Like many others, i was searching for skimlinks module but could not find anything like that. I think, you do not need a module for that (correct me if I am wrong)
I tried couple of things and came up with a solution. I already have added on my drupal site and it is working fine for me.
I am looking to add the following functionality to my site, and I'm wondering if there is a module that implements this:
- the site will have 2 user roles: normal & pro
- normal has basic privileges, e.g. can post up 10 nodes.
- pro has extended privileges, e.g. unlimited posts.
- when registering, user is normal for free, or can pay a fee to be pro.
- is there a module that combines eCommerce with roles/privileges in this way?
- if not, how might this kind of functionality be implemented?
