I'm a website developer created some projects in CMS like Joomla & WordPress, currently I'm planning to do something new; to create a site using PHP Framework.
I need to create a site like this www.wowdining.com so I just wanna know that which framework should I select which can fulfill my requirements you can just check out the list of PHP Frameworks , as I heard that this community can help in any Drupal related queries, lets hope for this also.
Any idea about zoomla ?
Recently, I did my first Drupal 7 website. I started to create my design based on 960 grid system and then I looked for a starter theme that could help me to create my website whitout putting my hands into code.
To complete that, I choose to work with Omega Theme. I ve been very happy with it. It was easy to custom my theme to fit with my design.
However, Omega seems to work only with 960 grid system.
I am in the process of setting up an online art gallery to display and sell artwork by people who have schizophrenia. So, with that said, here is what I feel I need in order to make this happen, and I appreciate any helpful input you give to my questions as I am brand new to Drupal, and just need to learn how to feel my way around.
So I'm still quite new to Drupal so I may be missing something obvious, but currently modules are just really getting on my nerves so it's time to vent.
I've spent today trying to import content from Wordpress - should be simple enough, I've found the modules so just need to install them. Firstly, why can my installation not download the modules and dependencies on it's own? I install the first wordpress-import module only to find it requires cTools, that's fine, I have it downloaded already so simply upload it. Now it's installed... hang on, what do i do now?
The majority of modules don't seem to have documentation, or if they do it's well hidden. Wordpress Import comes with a handy help section that inserts it'self into the help section of my installation... Wait, no it doesn't - It has a help link but all it's inserted is a hefty mysql error. So I have no idea where to find the interface for this module, it has no configure link, nothing is appearing in the configuration/structure/add content sections... So where do I start?
