I was thinking of building a multi-tenant CRUD operation SaaS application to fulfill a particular business need. I would love to hear some comments from experts about doing this on the back of Drupal. Suggestions of modules, feasibility or anything else would be helpful.
Is anyone aware of a Drupal Based Call Center application?
We are looking for a knowledge repository that our representatives can use to access information when answering calls from our customers. Presently, what exists are Word, Excel, PowerPoint documents on SharePoint that the reps have to search through when looking for answers.
Any samples of work or suggestions would be appreciated.
Creating a HUGE product catalog is it wise to use Taxonomy or not?
Is items stored thru Taxonomy makes a big difference in database size or no differnce???
As i am new to drupal and was experimenting for few days to get the structure what i want. All these days db was less than 1 mb and yesterday tried taxonomy and it shot upto 9.8 mb with only 3 products listed.
Experienced advise is highly needed here to shed some light.
I've written an article on how to setup virtual box running CentOS for Drupal development on Windows 7: http://www.metaltheater.com/tech/technical/virtualbox-setup-for-drupal-d... . This means you can code on your PC but the actual running environment mirrors the production environment. If anyone can suggest a better way to do it that'd be great!
