Having worked with Drupal for a couple of month now, I have searched a lot on drupal.org for modules and support answers.

I miss, that the "search result listing" includes which Drupal version, the posting is about. The information is already in most of the postings to forum.

Can the client update the E Commerce website store easily using Drupal.
I am not sure to learn this until I know this is possible, thanks

I am a beginner in Drupal and I am responsible for ensuring the development and maintanance of a site in Drupal 6.
I chose to follow two courses offered by Acquia Training entitled:
1 - 'Drupal 7 Module Development'
2 - 'Drupal 7 Layout & Theming'.
My question, is that following training on Drupal 7 can provide maintanance site in Drupal 6?
Is there a big difference between the version of Drupal 6 and 7?

I currently have a hand-coded PHP site which runs a local non-profit's Community Supported Agriculture site. This isn't itself novel at all. What is different about this site is that we let customers customize what they get in their food box each week. So, an off-the-shelf e-commerce package doesn't really work for me. I've been really wanting to ditch the hand-coded site and move towards something like Drupal. But here are a couple complicating factors:

• Customers have a recurring order for a small, medium, large, etc. size box that they get each week...so they don't buy a new box each week but rather sign up for 25 weeks in a row.
• The produce items that make up the box each week change throughout the season...so the items that customers can pick from will vary week to week.
• We have an "order window" that is different based on the pickup location the customer is signed up for. So for instance a Sunday pickup/delivery day has an order window of Wed/Thur so that the farmers have enough time to harvest and pack the boxes. Other locations have a Sun/Mon order window

I'm just curious how you guys promote your sites? I've whipped up a small news/entertainment site. So far facebook has been our primary source for traffic, but we're starting to encroach on the verge of being able to sell ads for a small profit and I'd like to break free from our facebook reliance. What do you guys recommend?

(Sorry,) I have seen somewhere track log of all changes contributed to core, but I can't find it now. My problem is that different versions (D7.15 vs D7.16) behave differently and maybe I can find some hint.
