Why is the search functionality on this site so useless? I just searched..."views"...and it's nowhere to be found. This was with "Modules" selected, and even the sub-category of "Views" was tried.

Then trying to sort by "Most Installed" instead of "Relevancy" (which was clearly misinformed), will revert back with no other option.

Maybe I'm just doing it wrong? And it's not just views. Searching "ctools" will result in the same long list of unintended (yet I'm sure useful) projects without Chaos Tools being listed. And ctools is even in the title.

May be someone who runs such a site or knows something about this could help ...

I am making a community site for someone - with forums, groups, events & news for a certain group of people. This will hopefully earn some money through Adsense & other ads.
They will bel be discussing issues affecting a certain group of people, including students & none students, provide links, different types of information, etc
It is hoped that later, people will register and take part.
The "community site" will look like & have features a bit like OrbitUganda.

This is a small site to be run by just a person, with a "Gewerbeschein".
I know German law requires having an "impressum" page.
My question is:

Is it enough to just include the following information on such a "Muster-Impressum" page:

I have downloaded version 7.17. I want to create a mobile rental website. The mobile version must look at a webapp (emulating a native app) using jQuery mobile).
With Jquery mobile you don't need to distinguish between desktop and mobile version. But maybe if it iis easy I want to use the full desktop client.

I have a database design as an Entity Relation ship diagram. How must I convert this to the Drupal database. Are there visual tools available to see you data structure?
Can you easily access the tables with the relationshop (any examples?) I mean access the database straight without using drupal but don't destroy the Drupal database structure ensuring the usage of Drupal also.

To get a feeling of what I want :

Person (renter, owner of a property)
Payments (received with a payment calendar)
Object (rental object can be house or whatever)
Pictures of the rental object (a link with picasa would be nice2have)
Properties of the object (Surrounding, places to see etc.)
Description and pricing of options
Booking pointing to start data and end week
Calendar (2012, 2013 etc)
Renting weeks (belonging to a calendar and hods pricing info)

Is Drupal the right solution to choose? Hoe must I set up the database? Can I use the database for a mobile site (skipping Crupal and directly work on the database)

I hate to mention WordPress here but...

One of the areas where WordPress seems to have an advantage over Drupal is in the area of updates/upgrades. When an update/upgrade is available the admin need only click a single link to initiate the process. The update module takes care of the process automatically. Are there any plans to add this sort of feature to Drupal? It seems to me that it would not only simplify the process but would reduce the number of update issues. Or am I missing something here?

I have been using mollom for a while now but I think the spam issue is not fully solved even when I have each and every module updated to the latest version.

What do you think? Should I try reCAPTCHA?? Should I not? What is your view?

How can I use the drupal to make a website which use to share video? I am not thinking of big video and numerous videos in term of capacity and size. My friend gives me a sample he has found in http://gogootv.com. I really want to use drupal to design and build website like above reference. As I know Drupal is much more powerful tool in the aspect. please reply me with kindness.
