Flexibility Regarding SEO & Development

I work primarily on the usability, SEO, and performance testing side of things, and recently I've had a few clients ask about Drupal in regards to SEO in particular. Can someone point me in the direction of some resources, or hopefully share your experiences regarding the pros/cons of Drupal development in this regard?

Good e-Commerce Sites ?

Hi all,

Can anyone point out some Good Drupal e-Commerce Sites that are up and running?

I did a Google search and came up little to nothing (sigh).

Thanks in advance!

What's wrong with drupal.org search?

If I type in something simple like "views", there is no result anywhere for http://drupal.org/project/views, even if I click modules. In fact I just use google to search drupal.org now..

Handling All Top 10 Security Risks by drupal?

Is drupal is able to handle effectively all the Top 10 Security Risks as mentioned by OWASP

(https://www.owasp.org/index.php/Top_10_2010-Main):

The OWASP Top 10 Web Application Security Risks for 2010 are:

A1: Injection (SQL, OS, LDAP, XPath, Program Arguements) – untrusted data sent to an interpreter as part of a command or query.
A2: Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) - untrusted data sent by a server to a browser.
A3: Broken Authentication and Session Management – compromise passwords, keys, tokens etc. to assume user’s identities.
A4: Insecure Direct Object References - exposing a reference to an internal implementation object without an access control check.
A5: Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) - forcing a browser to send a forged HTTP request.
A6: Security Misconfiguration - secure the defaults for framework, platform, application, framework, servers (web, application, database).
A7: Insecure Cryptographic Storage - protect sensitive data.
A8: Failure to Restrict URL Access - access control checks on page access.
A9: Insufficient Transport Layer Protection - protect sensitive communications (avoid invalid certificates, weak algorithms).

Looking for CSV importable list of American Universities and Colleges

I'm looking for a CSV list of all US universities and college campuses.

I'm also debating whether to create a custom content type "college" to allow users to add their university/college campus or instead finding a free CSV list which I can import and just prepopulate the content type. Another possible option is using geolocation to "suggest" a campus.

I need to be able to specify during import fields such as "campus name," "city," "state," and "zipcode." "street address" would be ideal.

Suggested enhancement to drupal.org's module management

It would be REALLY nice to see a formalized mechanism in drupal.org's module management that would support cross referencing of other modules AND noting the relationship. There have been several occasions where I was looking for a module for specific functionality and found that it would take a combination of modules to achieve what I was after. A mechanism like this would quickly demonstrate that this module has/can been extended and give a better snapshot it's true power/flexibility.
