Question: Brand new site - using 'corporate clean' theme which I fell in love with.

Should I use the standard blog module, or a more enhanced one? Which are the best enhancements?

Functionality - comments (std, I know), tags, searchability, sort by..., MOST important - a 'share this' thing at the bottom with tumblr, fb, linkedin, g+, and email links.... probably multi-user... although i only know one sure one right now.

I want to know because i want to create a template for a website where look and usability is more important than security and reliability.I tested Drupal Wordpress and then massage boards like phpbb and mybb

It has to be highly customized,pure HTML is fun but not easy to use for the admin so got no choice for using a CMS

have not really created a template for CMS though as it is a lengthy process.

I need to create what I imagine to be a simple website with basically 4 pages:
1. The first one is private (only people with admin rights can see it). This page is where I create a list with several products.
Thinking about it as a database, this page should generate the (unique) table containing *all* the products and their characteristics.
2. The second page is where the users register their information. It is open access to everyone. Here the users register and save their info.
DBwise, this page would feed the (unique) table containing *all* the information relating to each user.
3. The third page is where each user (previously registered) selects a product (from the list that I created) and gives the price that they are willing to pay (or sell), the location of the product, and any other information related to the sale.
DBwise, this should be a (large) table containing the userID, ProductID, and all the conditions related to the sale (price, quantity, buy/sell, location, etc., date of the post)
4. The fourth page would be only based on queries of the table in 3. For instance, it would contain (apart from several ads), graphs with the buy/sell prices each day (like a graph of a stock index for instance).

and I would like to know if Drupal would make it better or worse?

I work on both best cms, off course I am talking of developer and designers favorite Drupal cms and most used wordpress cms which is easy to use from anyone.

Both cms has it unique features specially I'm big fan of Drupal but don't use most because I am not developer, silly but true. I used wordpress which is one of easiest cms after blogger platform.

I just want to know.. couldany developer make addon installation more easy which is more difficult to search, install and activation as compare to wordpress.

Pre-paid Superior Double Room in Diplomat Hotel, Prague: I booked a pre-paid package to arrive 24 and leave 28 September (4 nights) but will not now be going to this DrupalCon. A pity because DrupalCon Munich was a fantastic experience, you cannot beat being there in person. I do not know Prague but this hotel looks smart and central.
