I have one module for drupal 7. That is Alert to Administrator(https://www.drupal.org/project/alert_to_admin) that is development release and I have also created same module for drupal 8 then how can I push code for drupal 8 in the same module.
My company wants to switch to Drupal as a CMS for our websites. We do a lot of websites for cities that require robust event calendars, work flows, user added Google Maps, etc. Here is an example: wakeforestnc.gov
The question of switching to Drupal is more a matter of "when" rather than "if" for us. We like Drupal but don't want to be ham stringed by a limited module selection. For example, the city of San Diego recently redid their site and built it on Drupal 7. Is that because 8 isn't quite ready for more complex sites?
I remember you used to be able to add one and it would show up in the forums etc. but I can't for the life of me find where you do this now. I've looked on three or four separate occasions!
Many beta versions of modules are still being used in online and insite Drupal learning programs and video tutorials and books.
What is the best way to determine whether a module is OK to use on a non-mission-critical production website such as a personal website?
Prime example is the Media module. On "Available Updates" it shows the beta as the latest version. Why is a beta version shown here and how good a decision is it to go with the beta version?
Another example is the Field Permissions module.
Thanks in advance for any comments, advice or useful links.
I am looking for examples of Drupal sites that are using Opigno as the LMS solution. I took a look at the case studies section and couldn't find one that listed Opigno as part of their technology solutions. I am having to make a decision on whether to use Opigno as the technology for an LMS we are creating but can't find any good examples of the use of it. The design and user experience expectations are high and the demo on Opigno site does not get even close to those.
