Select or other Taxonomy

Overview

This module extends the Select (or other) module to provide additional widgets for term reference fields.

The module was written by Eli Thorkelson in February of 2012 and posted as a zip file in an issue queue comment for the now defunct Taxonomy Other project. Eli has not replied to any additional comments on the thread or to my offer of assistance with the project commented on this sandbox project and given his approval.

As of January 2013, the module itself worked well but essentially disabled the use of the Select (or other) module it piggybacks upon when new fields were added. This is a major bug and my client project required it to be fixed. With the help of xjm on the #drupal-contribute IRC channel, I resolved this and another bug.
