Drupal 6.x

Can Drupal have a custom node or page.tpl.php that is created for the purpose of adding content to a site, but sometimes pages are like an "about us" page where is is appropriate to have a text based page. Then also available when creating new content at the content type menu, selecting this new option for creating a gallery-ish interface to lead to more content, something like: http://www.terminus1525.ca/studio

Is there a way to restrict which users can post content to specific forums? I've tried searching for this feature and can't find any info.

I need to:

1. Remove the "Search this site" text...
2. Move the rest of the search form to either a specific distance from the left or
   Move it to be a certain number of pixels to the left of the "home" button (preffered)

   Can anyone do that?

Hello, I am sure there is a thread in here somewhere about this ( the search is refusing to function at the moment ) but I would not mind getting in the discussion regarding theme abstraction. It seems like in Drupal 6 we may be taking some of this to far, a simple example being that when we use template files to generate tables, we can no longer use the table export module for these tables.

I'm currently in the process of setting up my first Drupal-based multi-user blog and, if possible, I'd like to have a feature I've seen on another drupal-based blog (http://www.gamerswithjobs.com). Basically they have all the front-page blog posts all automatically listed under "Front Page Articles" forum and comments sources from the forum rather than the post. I'm assuming they're using advanced forums but my question is two-fold:

Hi, although I have my profile module activated and I've already customized it, neither I (admin) nor my users have any kind of "edit profile" or profile option in our "My Account" area.
