Drupal 6.x

There are a couple of options to get an alternate name to display, besides a Username, for Drupal 5.
For example using the Authorship module, or the custom theme suggestions from http://drupal.org/node/122303 .

What is the best way to accomplish this in Drupal 6?

My goal is simply to have an alternate "Display Name" for each user, so that when they make a post, that name will be shown and not their Username.

in the add/edit node section (when using the node type Page), so is there a way to disable these functions? It would REALLY help me out.

How to reduce TITLE (website name) size ? i.e., I want to remove the website name's bold. How i can do this ? I am using default theme. Here is my site: http://www.meratechspace.NET/

My website name is: meraTechspace ----> it is displayed in bold. I want to make the title as slogan size ?
