Installing Drupal

Hi,
now I decided to use Drupal but I even don't get the Installation now :(
I downloaded the newest Version 7, several times and uploaded the files to my webserver.
The server ist totally new and has not seen any drupal installation before.
I start the install.php, then the error is shown.
it comes from the module.inc file and is thrown here:

Hi there,

I have just installed the blue masters theme and ive sorted all the blocks etc however the images do not show. im new to drupal so any help is appreciated.

i'm unsure if it is the src code or what, but the instructions say that you dont have to worry about the image src, so im a bit confused.

Yesterday:

Downloaded Drupal Commons 6.x.1.5 Unzipped and loaded to server in sub-folder (using FileZilla ftp). Followed Drupal 6 installation instructions. After specifying db info, got error:

Fatal error: Class 'ctools_export_ui' not found in /home/wowuk/public_html/drpc/profiles/drupal_commons/modules/contrib/panels/plugins/export_ui/panels_layouts_ui.class.php on line 4


Searched forum, found only one mention, checked suggestions, none helped.

Deleted all files & db from server.


Today

I'm new to Drupal and I am still trying to figure out if it is the right thing for me. The thing about it is I am just starting the installation process and so far I have downloaded Drupal 7 and unpacked it. So I know the next step is to upload the files to my web host, but I don't have one as of yet. I don't want to start paying for one yet because as I already mentioned, I am not sure if this is the route I want to take, and secondly, this site won't be completed for months so I don't want to start paying for the site while I work on it. So what is the best solution for me?

Hello to Everybody...I dont have any knowledge about Drupal or CMS....but I got the chance to download and also I have web host - Im from Cuba and is getting little confuse for me....but I want to install Drupal.
I have read the Info ( or help ) file from download folder- install.text - also I have been reading the Documentation and
forum help files about the Installation , and I cannot get to a real approach in any case.
I have been trying this for 2 weeks - and still no able to install Drupal.

Trying to install drupal....and twice (once with Conference Organizing Dist profile and again with OpenAcademic profile)..the installation seems to all work fine....only at the end...when I tried to open the new site I got this error message -
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 453 bytes) in /home/unigaiab/public_html/Drupal/includes/database.mysql-common.inc on line 35
