Installing Drupal

Hi there,

I'm about to rollout a new site to the test server. I've done this before, but only for very simple sites, and I basically just copied over the modules & themes and re-configured the site in-situ. The site I'm about to rollout is a little more complex and I'd like to find a way of copying over the whole configured site and existing content. This seems like better practise than reconfiguring the whole thing.

Hello, I am a Drupal newbie and I have a question. Lets say I have a domain www.nightclub.com and I want to put some introduction page there while the site is under construction.
Can I do this?
<1> Instal Drupal into www.nightclub.com/dev/ and work on my website in this subdirectory (customize and so on).

Installed Drupal 7 using Fantastico Deluxe. No errors during install.
Admin user name and password entered correctly, but get error "Sorry, unrecognized username or password. Have you forgotten your password?"

When I edit the MySql drpl user database the following data is contained in the pass field for the Admin user name:

I have problem with drupal . i deleted folder "sites"
And appeared to me :

"Site off-line
The site is currently not available due to technical problems. Please try again later. Thank you for your understanding."

What do I do? Has been restored to my website

Hi everyone,

Trying to install D7 on a production server. I keep getting the WSOD at install.php?profile=standard&locale=en

Running the latest PHP.
MYSQL is not the latest but greater than what is recommended for D7.
Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS)

I have searched google and these forums for a fix. tried each that I could find.
From what I can gather its a 500 error.

I've checked the logs but they don't reveal anything.

I have a bunch of drupal 6 sites running on the same host.

Anyone else have this issue and resolved it?
