Installing Drupal

Hi, I am running CAMP 1.3.20 (Apache 1.3.20 standard modules with DLL support, Apache 1.3.20 proxy module, PHP 4.0.6 module, including build-in support for mysql 3.23.32) and mysqld-nt.exe (outside of Cygwin).

Is it possible to change the locale language for an anonymous user, so anonymous users can chooses their language before registering ?

Hi, I am just trying out Drupal... Since my website is on a remote host, I downloaded Drupal to my computer, expanded it, and uploaded everything in a folder called 'Drupal'. It does work, but I like to now, which permissions should I set?

i have a problem with polls. When i create a new poll it goes to the front page. But i would like if it would go to horizontal menu to. But it stays blank... How can i get it to work?

Still having a few problems getting my forums working - I can't seem to find any link to create or administer forums, either from my user profile block or from the admin page...

Is there a guide to using the CVS version, since I upgraded to this version in the first place to access the new forum features?

Also I would like to be able to do some other smaller things, like change the amount of time that people appear on the "who's new" section, etc...
