Installing Drupal

This is on a fresh install when I try to pull up the initial page. Any ideas?

Is it possible to create site pages that have a list of stories similar to the home page except they are of a single category eg a technical tips page that has only stories and file uploads for a category of technical tips and how to's.

I install drupal and when I run it and make a new admin account for the first time, i put in the user name "timmerk", when the new login page pops up, it cuts timmerk to "erk". It cuts all usernames I try, so I never can get it working - anyone know how to fix this bug?

I do have crontab installed, but drupal doesn't use it, when I ask it to. I figure www-data is the user in question, but nothing happens. Can I add the source to the crontab manually?

i like the regexpr on the blocks. i know i can show blocks on some pages. but i want to show some blocks on all pages except book pages?

do i have to make a list with all options except book or can i do somethink like ALL NOT BOOK?

In custom box I put a link to external inage. But no image displayed. Why could it be?
