Promote to front page:

Can "Promote to front page:" be enabled by default?

Originally my site had the queue module enabled. I wanted the posts to automatically go to the front page and so I tried to make the Post Threshold equal to 0 but can't. So I found if I disable the queue module the posts are no longer in submission queue. However now they don't go to the front page.

database help!

I already have some tables in my database that are the same as drupal eg. access is in use by my vBulletin and so are some others. Is there a way i can change it to have a main_ at the start of each prefix and also not have any errors on my site?

Parse error after trying to insert a php line in a new block

I tried to create a block called time and inserted PHP code into it to echo the day etc.

It never saved, and now I get this error above every block on the site:

Parse error: parse error in /usr/local/xxx/xxxx/xxxx/foo.org.uk/http/modules/block.module(62) : eval()'d code on line 1

Any words of wisdom on how to remove this?

Thanks

Ratso

problem is: when i want to log in as 1. user i'll get this errormessage: "warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent in d:\web\drupal\module.php on line 12."
and i can't see any content.

Avatars for this site

I can't seem to upload an avatar. I get this error:

warning: Unable to create 'misc/avatars/85422afb467e9456013a2a51d4dff702.gif': No such file or directory in /var/www/drupal.org/modules/profile.module on line 229.

https vs http

I just let my site be submitted to the drupal.org site and I noticed that the URI has http instead of https in front of it (in the other drupal sites section).

Btw, it does recognise the port number Only local images are allowed.
