Web developer, artist, musician, Daniel Schiavone is Technical Lead at CivicActions transforming government by helping va.gov and medicare.gov better service people's needs. He serves on the board for Drupal4Gov, and organizes the Baltimore Drupal Meetup and Baltimore DrupalCamp. Daniel speaks and teaches regularly at Drupal camps and technology events.
The Baltimore Sun described Schiavone as a “renaissance man.” Trained as an artist Daniel is a founder of Creative Alliance at the Patterson and bootstrapped community revitalization through the Highlandtown Arts and Entertainment District. He plays the organ regularly at his neighborhood parish and recently picked up the mandocello so he can jam with his two sons and play with the Baltimore Mandolin Orchestra. He and his wife Liz recently moved from a former Moose Lodge to a Victorian Cottage that they are meticulously restoring in Baltimore City.

Documentation guides
I'm an organizer of the Baltimore Drupal Meetup, Baltimore DrupalCamp and I help maintain the DigitalGovSearch module and documentation on Drupal.org. I'm active in the issue queues and teach Drupal at regional camps. I'm especially proud of being a local lead for Front End Track for DrupalCon Baltimore.
