I am very active in the Twin Cities Drupal Community and recently partnered with two friends to form a small Drupal company, Triplo (http://www.triplo.co) that supports local freelancers.
I worked/volunteered for many years with E-Democracy.org (http://www.e-democracy.org) working in the field of online civic engagement. I love to help build and facilitate online communities or use online tools to support physical communities.

I'm a frequent contributor to Drupal core taking advantage of the core mentoring program and attending local sprints.
I'm on the local Twin Cities Drupal Camp planning committee. I regularly participate in local Drupal events (happy hour, user group, and coder meetup). I've organized small local core sprints, global sprint weekend events, and regularly encourage and help new users contribute to Drupal.
I am currently working with the core mentoring project to find ways of better using the specific skills and talents of new contributors that wish to contribute to the Drupal project in ways other than contributing code, re-rolling patches, and other traditional "novice" tasks.
I've attended the following Drupal camps/events:
2012 - Twin Cities Drupal Camp
2012 - Midwest Regional Developers Summit (Madison, WI)
2013 - Global Sprint Weekend (One day of local sprinting in Twin Cities)

2014 - Global Sprint Weekend (Two days of local sprints in Twin Cities)
2014 - MidCamp (Chicago)
2014 - DrupalCon Austin
2014 - Drupal Camp Wisconsin
2014 - DrupalCorn (Iowa)
