Mike Madison (mikemadison)

Mike has spent over 20 years building websites for other people (and occasionally himself). He’s been a member of the Drupal community since 2009 and a fierce advocate for Drupal (and open source) ever since. Today, he leads Zscaler’s global web team of 60+ that consists of web and QA engineers, content strategists and writers, project managers, designers, and data analysts.

Previously, Mike spent 8+ years at Acquia leading consulting engagements and their developer experience product portfolio. He also spent 6+ years leading a team of Drupalists at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.

Aside from his web nerdery, Mike practices traditional Okinawan karate and enjoys all the hiking, running, and scuba diving he can squeeze in. He lives with his wife and dogs in the Seattle metro area.
