Paid Drupal services

Here's the issue.

I would like to have users sign up an account and by doing so create their own user group, let's call it an office. Then they should be able to invite other people into their office, lets call them "agents." Agents would have their own data that only they could see, let's say information about their contacts, for example.

Ideally the members of the "office group" would have some shared data, but then some private data only seen to them.

Is this at all possible within drupal?

We have a fun, innovative, and ambitous non-profit project called THE 1 SECOND FILM (www.the1secondfilm.com).

We are looking for a talented developer proficient with Drupal (and possibly CivicSpace) to create the backend for our new and improved website. We are working with web designers at Special Ops Media for the front end. Our new site will be much simpler and dynamic than our current handmade site.

ABOUT OUR PROJECT:
The 1 Second Film is animated and consists of 12 giant murals painted simultaneously by hundreds of participants during an all-night music event/party. The film is financed by thousands of on-line donations; we give producer credits to anyone in the world for $1 or more. We then list our producers in order of amount donated. Credits are also being listed on IMDb (http://imdb.com/title/tt0448975/combined). Producers range from celebrities like Kevin Bacon and Spike Jonze to great-grandmothers, gas-station attendants, and even open-source computer programmers :). The film is being completed on 70mm (courtesy of donated film services) and is estimated to have 90-minutes of end credits; a feature-length making of documentary will screen during the credits showing the journey of the film from start to premiere. Our thousands of producers are invited to contribute content to our making of documentary, creating in effect an 'open source' film. The project is a lot of fun and attempts to show how much can happen when enough people collaborate. All profits raised by the finished film will benefit the Global Fund for Women, a non-profit grantmaking organization supporting women's human rights (the 12 frames of the film were painted on March 8th, 2001 - International Women's Day. We are hoping to finish the film and have our premier by March 8th, 2007, but have a lot to do- getting our site in order is the key.

We are building a global travel portal based on drupal and need a good theme designer to create the look and feel. This can be either an individual or a company and would ideally form the basis of an ongoing relationship. Strong design skills backed up with examples are a must. We would rather use phptemplate as the theming engine and will also require ongoing adverts, flash banners, logo themeing (like googles), etc.

Skills required: css, xhtml, javascript, phptemplate, drupal, graphic design and an innovative mindset!

I'm looking for a smart, relatively junior web producer/developer to help the New America Foundation grown and maintain its web sites. We're in the process of moving to Drupal right now, so experience there is ideal, but the job is nowhere near 100% Drupal development. The ideal candidate would probably be more of a Drupal "power user" -- particularly one who's interested in politics and policy, and already lives in the DC area.

POSITION DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Web Producer/Developer is a vital part of New America’s plans to revamp and expand its new media operations, and needs to be equally comfortable with content and technology. Initial emphasis will be on the wholesale redesign of www.newamerica.net, which includes a shift to the Drupal publishing platform and a significant improvement in site functionality.

Ongoing responsibilities will focus more on multimedia projects, content production and day-to-day site maintenance, although true site development will always be a significant part of the mix. Online video is increasingly important at New America, and the Web Producer/Developer will be the point person for those efforts. The Web Producer/Developer reports to the New Media Editor, but works closely with colleagues throughout New America.
