We need some one (preferablly in Boston/Washington DC area) who knows drupal 4.6 code and do some mysql table manipulation /customization (just adding few more columns in users table and hooking one foreign key in it from our existing tables and a way to filter content based on user types and this foreign key from our tables ....thats all ...

We're seeking a web and IT manager to help us in our offices near York in England. Most of our websites run on drupal, hence the posting here, but we also use x-cart and some other PHP/MySQL software.
We'd like you to help us develop and maintain our sites, and in particular to help us launch a major business community based on drupal. We also need you to take over production and management of our email newsletters, and to help us with our local network (windows XP).

We are working on a ecommerce drupal site and need some modifications to the existing parcel functionality in the ecommerce mod.

We need the ability to auto calculate package prices, discounts and apply user credits to purchases. Please contact us and let us know if you can help. Not sure if mods to the existing module will work or if there is a need to create a new module all together.

Looking for help setup a alumni site for my college.

Would prefer someone who has good idea of the modules that are available for such a site and set them. Hence prior work on similar lines would be great help.

I would prefer that the site is setup without any custom developement, so that upgrades are easier.

Here's the issue.

I would like to have users sign up an account and by doing so create their own user group, let's call it an office. Then they should be able to invite other people into their office, lets call them "agents." Agents would have their own data that only they could see, let's say information about their contacts, for example.

Ideally the members of the "office group" would have some shared data, but then some private data only seen to them.

Is this at all possible within drupal?

We have a fun, innovative, and ambitous non-profit project called THE 1 SECOND FILM (www.the1secondfilm.com).

We are looking for a talented developer proficient with Drupal (and possibly CivicSpace) to create the backend for our new and improved website. We are working with web designers at Special Ops Media for the front end. Our new site will be much simpler and dynamic than our current handmade site.

ABOUT OUR PROJECT:
The 1 Second Film is animated and consists of 12 giant murals painted simultaneously by hundreds of participants during an all-night music event/party. The film is financed by thousands of on-line donations; we give producer credits to anyone in the world for $1 or more. We then list our producers in order of amount donated. Credits are also being listed on IMDb (http://imdb.com/title/tt0448975/combined). Producers range from celebrities like Kevin Bacon and Spike Jonze to great-grandmothers, gas-station attendants, and even open-source computer programmers :). The film is being completed on 70mm (courtesy of donated film services) and is estimated to have 90-minutes of end credits; a feature-length making of documentary will screen during the credits showing the journey of the film from start to premiere. Our thousands of producers are invited to contribute content to our making of documentary, creating in effect an 'open source' film. The project is a lot of fun and attempts to show how much can happen when enough people collaborate. All profits raised by the finished film will benefit the Global Fund for Women, a non-profit grantmaking organization supporting women's human rights (the 12 frames of the film were painted on March 8th, 2001 - International Women's Day. We are hoping to finish the film and have our premier by March 8th, 2007, but have a lot to do- getting our site in order is the key.
