2 contract positions: programmer & designer

Work from home :-)

Hi, I need help developing a few websites. If you've worked with Drupal and know how to theme it and write modules for it, I can really use your help. I have several 10-40 hour gigs. I'm based in SF Bay Area. You don't have to be local, but you have to be fluent in English and you must have experience with Drupal. Please send me links to sites you've done and tell me how much you normally charge. Thanks.

Need advice and developer

Hello,

I am considering using Drupal for a client project, because it seems very flexible fairly easy to use. The project needs custom development though and I am not sure if Drupal is the right choice. If it is I need a programmer that can help me create the site.

My questions are:
1. Can drupal be configured and changed to support the requirements mentioned below?
2. Is there a developer out there that is willing to help?

General info:

The project is the development of a site for a new franchise business: a fitness center service for seniors. The site should contain basic information about the business, investor information, franchise information, contact information and other information pages.

A good example is the following competitor site:

http://www.club50fitness.com/

The project will basically be the same as this site, with an extra feature: a dating module that enables fitness center members to contact each other anonymouly.

I care of the design, project management and content of this project. I have however not enough programming experience to be able to develop the extra needed functionality.

In the first phase of this project I need help with the following:

1. Confirmation that Drupal is the right platform to use (e.g. can is it flexible enough for the functionalities described below? How many users can it contain? etc.)

2. Customization (if necessary) of the user management system

taxonomy terms (tags) associated to each user

hi:

i am trying to implement a feature similar to del.icio.us tags where each user has a set of own tags that are also part of the main vocabulary.

this is mainly what i need:

- when the user inserts a new story and adds terms they are added to the DB. The terms HE added are then shown on HIS profile as a tag cloud. the tag is shared so other users can access the same from the main vocabulary.
(if you have used del.icio.us you know what i mean)

Paid Help Porting Themes to Drupal 4.7

Hi,
I would like to know if anyone would be interested in helping us convert a few current Drupal sites we manage into Drupal themes to give back to the Drupal community. I have two web sites (of many) that have similar themes running on Drupal. One is our own company web site, SEO Position. This site uses a 3 column fixed width theme. Things we would need for the SEO Position theme are:

1) Clean up of redundant or overlaping CSS. Take the few hard-coded HTML snippets out of page.tpl and creates blocks/regions instead.

2) Fixes of Drupal.css stylesheet and/or another template page created for the admin section of the site. Since this site design is squeezed to fixed 765px and has 3 columns, things tend to look bad while logged in as a user or admin. I just don't have time right now to find all the style issues and fix them or create a fixed column page of 765px for the admin section.

3) Any other minor fixes to help port the theme over to Drupal smoothly.

I would prefer a designer/developer that's quick and talented at CSS, PHP, and porting to Drupal.

Any feedback is welcome and I would like to be in the $200 range if at all possible for each site. I would also entertain ideas of featuring your company on the page the theme will be located on our web site and any other credit by linking to you, etc.

Please contact us through our web site if you are interested or reply here.
