duplicate existing site to sub-directory for $$$

Hello everyone!

I am willing to pay $20 + free advertising for a year to anyone who knows how to and is willing to duplicate an existing drupal site that I have onto a subdirectory. Said person will duplicate and configure settings and databases to complete the process.

I have tried and have failed repeatedly to do this the past few weeks. I will pay $10 up front via paypal and the rest at the end. The hosting site currently yields over 500 visitors a day. I am using an older version of drupal. Info from the installation regarding this topic is below. Please email me or respond on the forum to inquire. Thank you!

INSTALLATION INFO:

In addition, a single Drupal installation can host several
Drupal-powered sites, each with its own individual configuration.
If you don't need multiple Drupal sites, skip to the next section.

Additional site configurations are created in subdirectories within
the 'sites' directory. Each subdirectory must have a 'settings.php'
file which specifies the configuration settings. The easiest way to
create additional sites is to copy the 'default' directory and modify
the 'settings.php' file as appropriate. The new directory name is
constructed from the site's URL. The configuration for www.example.com
could be in 'sites/example.com/settings.php' (note that 'www.' should
be omitted if users can access your site at http://example.com/).

Theme (and more?) for New Magazine's Website

Hello, several friends and I are working on launching a European current events and culture magazine and we'd like a strong web presence. I like the power of Drupal and so am planning on using this for our site, which is to have current and past issues, subscriptions, forums, event listings, blogs, and so on. I feel confident that I can set up Drupal and any associated modules just fine, but I am not a designer and we want a strong, distinctive distinctive design.

Added features to community site

I am looking to create some added functionality to my Drupal project.

Overview:

I have a Gloves website. After a customer purchases the gloves they can join the *Members Only section (Drupal) of the site.

The Members Only section is a place to participate in over the internet events such as:
- participate in a poll (x 5 reward points)
- upload a photo (x 6 reward points)
- upload a word document (x 4 reward points)
- add 5 or more to the buddy list (x 1 reward points)

When the customer does this task I need to give them Reward Points (temporary). As well as Merit Points (Static) for acheiving a certain level of activity.

Basically the more they participate the Higher the Membership Ranking (ex: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Supreme) they also get Reward Points that they can use to cash in for special prizes like T-Shirts or hats from our online catalog (shopping module).

So do you think you can help?

I have some basic programming experience, but I am very new to Drupal. I don't have time to learn the Hooks so I need an expert help. I have Cash Bucks! - Interested? Plus I have a super Close Deadline: October 1st - Urghh!

I need somboady to help create the process flow: Build additional tables, Creat a system for making an event, Attribute the Rewards to the different Events, Apply the Credits to the store, Create a Display under the User's Profile image of there Membership Merit Satus (hopefully with graphic images to represent the Rank: like stars or something)

Help EFF with an E-voting website

EFF is looking for a Drupal developer to work with us on a contract basis to install and configure Drupal and Drupal modules, and create a unique look and feel, for an E-voting activism website. The ideal person will need be able to see this project through from start to finish - installing Drupal, setting up the database, installing the modules, coordinating with our E-voting attorney on specifications and content, and editing the CSS and themes to make it look good.

The purpose of the site would be to allow various E-voting rights coalitions to collaboratively post information about their organizations, post in a blog, and disseminate information to the public about their work.

Some features the site needs to incorporate are:

* group blog

* coalition member information and links

* press release announcements/archive

* document repository; the ability to upload docs that coalition members create.

* "speaker's bureau" information; i.e. a page of information about how to get various coalition members to speak at different events

* calendar of events (conferences, member speeches, etc.)

This is a paid contract position. Please email me (le@eff.org) with a resume samples of your work with Drupal in the past.

The election is coming right up, and we are on a SHORT time frame, so you need to be able to start right away! It'll be fun! :D
