We have Drupal project leads coming in and also referrals to build mid to large scale Drupal projects - many with lots of bells and whistles, multiple content displays, and some leaning on the social side of things. Our company also markets ourself for Drupal based projects online so we are always receiving good leads (6 this week already at my last count).

Right now we are in the early phase of discussing the project details for several larger Drupal projects - one in the $20k+ and another in the $60k+ range - but our background and expertise isn't so much "large" Drupal dev. projects, i.e. xml integration, building social networks using Drupal, heavily customizing modules or building our own for clients. Typically we stick to the $5-10k shorter duration projects with some custom enhancements, theming, etc.

So, what it comes down to is that we realize that we are in need of a reliable Drupal development company to outsource some of these larger Drupal projects so that we can focus on our core business - Internet marketing. We are perfectly fine with doing so as long as we have adequate margins in the project/referral.

NOTE: The average pay per hour would typically range between $50-70/hr. We can negotiate per project scope, overall project length, and of course your company's experience with Drupal.

RAFT is a quickly growing startup company that specializes in providing tools for use in laboratory research. Our main product is a full scale end-to-end application that uses the Drupal CMS to enable our user community to better manage their compliance and research needs. We have been using Drupal for two years, and are currently in the process of upgrading from version 4.6 to 5.1. With this upgrade, we hope to make use of many of the new Drupal APIs and features. We have taken a Drupal-centric attitude and are poised to become a strong player in the Drupal community.

RAFT is looking for developers that are experienced with Drupal module development. Knowledge of the core Drupal development APIs is mandatory, along with knowledge of other common add-on APIs such as Views, CCK, and OG. Understanding of Drupal's security architecture is also needed, specifically node access, role assignment, and organic groups. Experience with user interface development is also highly desired.

Applicants must have a very strong work ethic and be willing to keep up with a fast paced, Rapid Application Development environment. As a startup company we rely heavily on the dependability and initiative of our employees to get work done under sometimes aggressive deadlines. The work is challenging and rewarding. Ideal candidates will be outspoken when it comes to expressing new development ideas and will be able to give and accept constructive criticism well. A good sense of humor is also required.

We are looking for part-time help developing PHP theme templates for our new website. We have a graphic designer and a developer, but need additional help converting Fireworks graphics files into Drupal theme files to make our pages show up correctly.

Skills

* Familiarity with Drupal CMS
* Programming: PHP, CSS, and of course HTML is required
* Understanding of Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP server environment.
* Ability to edit Fireworks graphics (possibly some Photoshop files as well)
* Must believe that documenting your code is a good thing
* Self-motivated, organized, able to meet deadlines
* Ability to work independently and collaborate with team
* Good communication skills is a must for us

This position is part-time only right now. We hope this opportunity will lead to a full-time position though if we work well together. Residence in the Minnesota is not a requirement, but it is preferred. At least two years of programming experience is preferred.
