Paid Drupal services

We are a Boston based design agency replying to an RFP for a law firm web site. We can handle the design and writing, but need to partner with a developer to code the pages and make it work with a CMS. We are not sure Drupal is right for the project, but if you have proven experience we will consider it. Or, if you have a different CMS is mind, let us know. I'm converting an existing site to Drupal and I'm looking for a simple solution to something I'm trying to do with Views.

I think this is an easy one - except that I just can't figure it out. I
need to pass a URL into a (table) view with the user's UID in it so that:
visible text: Select Me
live link: shop/select=[$nid]

Simple Foreclosure website. Membership signup (cc processing). Sortable/page able result sets.

Need to collect rss/reo listings from diverse online sources and place them in a searchable site by location/state.

Any experience in relevant modules for Drupal 5 is a huge advantage - we also need performance enhancement expertise, so anyone with experience of tweaking Drupal for speed would be good to hear from as well.
