A leading IT company based in Saudi Arabia looking for a developer to work on an internal Drupal project for an IT intranet implementation and to build a working relationship.
The developer should have the knowledge to build and customize Drupal modules strictly according to best practices and community development standards.
We are currently trying to setup Drupal to authenticate against Fedora Directory Server (LDAP).
While the ldap_integration module works, some work needs to be done before we are able to go live with the intranet site.
We are, hence, looking to enhance and solidify Drupal's management of (1) user profile facilities and (2) users in an LDAP only authentication setting as well as the LDAP integration module itself.
Below is a quick summary of the major issues we would like to address:
A) Fixing and enhancing the self-service capability for users wishing to (1) change/reset their LDAP passwords and/or (2) update their personal information (where possible).
B) automated account notifications for things like in-activity, password expiration, etc.
C) house-keeping facility to remove users that have been removed from LDAP
D) Various tweaks to the user profile module and the way it works within the overall integrated setup.
