I'm looking for a Washington DC-based Drupal expert who is willing to help me overcome Drupal's steep learning curve. Ideally, I'd like someone who can spend some time explaining how views, CCK and templating works as it related to a project I'm working on.
I'm offering $10 or £5 of my meagre student existance to anyone who can help me out with a problem i have with CCK.
I have made a custom content type, which i haev created a custom theme for; this theme includes an iframe. The problem is that node lists also include this iframe, and i don't want it to. I only want it to include the teaser and other things I've set up in CCK.
If someone can guide me through this, I'm happy to pay the above to their paypal account.
I run an online music magazine called No Ripcord, which is based at www.noripcord.com.
The site was converted into Drupal around one year ago and while I am happy with 90% of it in terms of functionality I think there is definite room for improvement in terms of the design and also with a few extra features.
The original designer was going to work on a few outstanding items but has been suspiciously quiet for the last few months which is worrying me somewhat. I'm posting to see if there is anyone out there with the expertise and necessary interest to complete the job.
My main gripes with the current design are:
The appearance of the front page
The lack of ad banner presence, a module I'd like to incorporate as it could pay for my hosting costs
The lack of an interactive element - comments for each article would suffice
The lack of precise user levels/privileges
The lack of flexibility with images - I'm unable to put images in my feature articles which is driving me crazy!
I am looking for expert Drupal developers, who can help me customized the following installed modules on the web server.
• image, inline, shazamgaller:
• invite
• OG
• CCK
• private message ( and chat, if you want )
• mysite
• nodeprofiles
• event
• buddylist
And couple of other modules; if you are an expert please contact me at the following address, but please do not forget to include the examples of your work.
