We are thinking about outsourcing a Drupal Module development. It will be
used in a local guide website, for cinema listings. The Event Module does
not completely fulfill our needs.
Basically the module needs to support:
a) A film can be available in different theaters/rooms, at different
times, starting and ending on different dates.
b) The user must be able to browse and search using theater, film name and
starting time as a criteria
c) Theaters should be able to have more than one exhibition room
(multiplex). The film must be related to the theater and room.
The main difference we'd like to have on this module is to allow the user
filter what films he/she can still watch today (suppose it's 6 PM).
The module must allow the movie to have multiple fields, such as images,
description, preview movie, actors, etc.
The module must allow the theaters to have addresses, phone numbers, lat
and long for mapping.
The module will have to be integrate with some voting module, so users can
vote and comment on the movie.
This will be our first experience outsourcing. We usually develop our
sites using an Extreme Programming approach, so we are not used to
completely define every aspect of the project. I imagine this might be a
problem when outsourcing, thus I'd like to hear from you what kind of
