The module I am looking for would allow me to create custom "node add" points for my users. The module would take any existing node type and allow me to choose fields from them to show up on a stripped down "node creation point" that could be displayed as a block or a page.
A fairly detailed explination of what I'm looking for is here: www.LiquidMethods.com/drupal including photoshopped screenshots of how I imagine it would look.
I have experience in module development (for references see my profile) and some site building (marvin.elte.hu, airportcitizen.net). If you need on-site consultancy, or have development tasks here in Aberdeen contact me via my contact form to discuss the details. My focus of interest at the moment is graphics, visual representation of information (see my summer of code project for details).
Hi. My 501(C)3 organization has a website originally built in CivicSpace 0.8.5. We bought a new domain name. I'm having trouble moving the old files to the new site- probably because the new site came with Drupal 5.1 installed and CivicSpace is built on a much older version of Drupal.
Appears there is no longer support for CivicSpace open source downloads, so... can someone help me (for reasonable compensation, of course) rebuild our site on the new domain name? How long will it take and what will it cost? Both sites are up and running.
The problem:
I have a table which contains 12 fields. I need a form which will allow some users to add and edit data in this table, which records details of observations of wildlife sightings by groups of volunteers.
Some of the fields need to be populated using information which is held in custom fields from the user's profile - their location and the habitat of their observation area, for example.
I'm the owner of www.holisto.com, a listings site that is a complete dogs dinner of php code.
I am considering converting to a cms system, and I think drupal is the way to go.
The main fuctions of the site are to list services of holistic practitioners, but I would also like to have an events calendar which operates with the same categories and applicable to the same users. Also I would like ot categorise all content by local area. [ Taxonomy is one of the best things Drupal has going for it.]
