Drupal 4.7.x

Hello -

Over the last couple years I have been using ExpressionEngine for my web 'development.' With all the comparisons of EE to Drupal plus the anticipated price increase of the new EE 2, I have decided to look into Drupal as platform for development.

With this being the case there are some things that I have become used to in EE and I wanted to know if Drupal has the same of similar functionality.

Drupal learning session will continue till end of December 2009 in phase 1 to build quality open source developer in India following all drupal best practices and to support new coming drupal 7.x release.

In first phase session will go on Saturday & Sunday 10Am- 1PM, but sometimes on Tuesday and Thursday.

The site is Drupal 4.7
The site uses custom drupal profile module
The site is on a cloud server running php5

What should happen.
ex. Education Block
User selects state.
City pre-poplutes city for that state. If city is not there. User selects other..input field appears, user enters city and is added to the list. Followed by school..etc.. (same goes for occupation).

I search on cmss today and found at cmsmartix.org and look drupal. I use drupal for a while and I want to ask why these are lack and didnt patch also it these important? or how can I solve or change this?

I search and find some modules that enables its lack but i cant find these.

v 4.7.3
First time post, be kind, I looked far and wide, fixed one problem, can't find a clue on this one.
This concerns the WYSG FCK EIEIO editor? (no clue which one) the editor works, posts fine, previews fine, i click the html button and i get a popup that expands is blank aside from a check box and {$lang_theme_code_wordwrap}

Any clue on this? Is something not installed? bug? This is off an existing install, just walked into this one.

Some guidance would be great, i can't find a thread.
