How to add social sign-on to my Drupal site? Please let me know tutorials that can help or if there is a good module available for that.

Is it true that Drupal is outdated CMS? I plan to use drupal but some of my friends told these CMS is outdated. Is it ture? Please advise. Thanks

I need to create a website that has the following:

so the search would include a form that has main categories and their sub categories... plus the layout changes depending on the subcategory: header and background image....

On each subcategory would have a menu, and on each menu (item#1,2 etc) would be a list/directory (some of them featured).

Then on the index page, some featured itens (from the subcategories), other featured articles and suggestions...

i am using drupal 4.7 which is running perfectly fast on DV 3.5 Site www.2knowmyself.com
now media temple is closing 3.5 and i am forced to move to DV 4.0

i setup a test site on the new server which can be accessed through that ip: 216.70.80.247

the new site is terribly slow , browse for few moments and at least one page will take 8 seconds to load compared to 0.5 second for the original site

both servers have 2GB of ram , the only difference is in the new version of PHP and Mysql

i installed boost module 2 years ago and it worked fine but i disabled it for tech reasons
yesterday i tried to enable it on my new DV and as soon as i enable the module using drupal's interface
all pages give that error
