Making use of Views Arguments - What do you do?

Hi,
I'm taking part in the GHOP Contest (http://drupal.org/node/195913) and as part of my task (Improve documentation on arguments: http://drupal.org/node/201529) I need to find some sample uses of arguments in Views.

So, I'm appealing to the Drupal Community to post your innovative and interesting uses of arguments in views - from the simple to the complex, anything goes!

Thanks for your help!

How to create a post without a post name/heading?

How can I create a post without the post heading? A good example would be Drupal.org frontpage, where the orange colored abstract about Drupal i.e. where the following is stated "Drupal.org is the official website of Drupal, an open source content management platform......"

Thanks.

No FollowSymlinks allowed => consequences?

We want to move some Drupal sites to a new ISP.
The only limitation seems to be that FollowSymlinks is not allowed.
What does that mean?
We could live loosing the possibility to preview images.
Is ClearUrls still working?
Are there other things I should know?

Any help very much appreciated!

Is it possible to add user events to tracker ?

Blogs for Staff

I would like a primary link to "Staff Blogs" and this shows only the staff writings. A second link is "Community Blogs" and this shows all of the writings from our members. What is the best way to accomplish this? How do I make sure the member blogs are never promoted to the frontpage?

Hopefully this is clear. I am extremely new to Drupal and just figured out how to modify the primary links for "blogs" and "forums" (see? I'm really new!).

Access denied You are not authorized to access this page.

Ok, so I'm trying to move a site from a shared hosting provider to our own server. I'm very new to drupal, basically I was just called in to help these guys move the website so i'm not that familiar with drupal.

The problem I'm having is that when I login to the site I get the "Access denied You are not authorized to access this page." error when I try to do anything.

I've spent about 2 hours digging through forums and on irc and I haven't come up with anything yet. Here are some things that i've tried.
