Drupal 4.7.x

Hi all,

I have one site in Drupal 4.7 and want to have another site on same concepts (spinoff of main site) with diff domain (subdomain). Can these two sites share the database?
most of the content on new site will be taken from main site, so is it advisable to use separate database for this?
what will be plus and minus of this?

then do I need to run Drupal installation again on new folder for subdomain if at all I am sharing same database?

Can we have a Vlog so we can have a video diary site? thanks

i am creating a module that requires two different node types in order to offer the full functionality i'd like. basically one node type has preset text fields for filling in data, and another will allow users to create fill in a label text field and a value text field to get custom fields. i cannot seem to find any way to declare multiple node types from within my module, however.

does anybody know if this is possible, or where i might find some information on it? i've tried the search and the handbooks.

I use Drupal 4.7.4. The site has been up and running for nearly a year now, but we've used only really basic stuff.

I now tried to upload files using the 'File attachements' thing.
-I go through the steps of selecting a local file using 'Browse' and then click attach.
-The 'uploaded' file is listed, and a path is given: The path looks correct, it should be located under the installation directory, and then files

I haven't created a new blank page in a long time, so perhaps it's my feeble mind, but I can't find a link to create a new basic page. Not a blog or forum or book page, just a basic HTML page.

I've checked every menu repeatedly, and know the "page" module is enabled, and added to the admin>>create content menu, but when I click it, all it does is give me a field to search for pages.

What the huh?
