Wondering whether there's a step-by-step instruction on how to point domain to drupal cms & folders once the site is built? Currently have old-fashioned folders one supported via total commander but would like to rebuild it completely in Drupal.
I'm currently using Site5 for hosting my personal blog site built using Drupal. As the account is going to be expire, I want to quit this company and go to another one of BlueHost. How can I start the migration without losing my entire database?
While transferring content from a non-Drupal site. Should somebody create 301 redirect for old path ? In a 100,000 article website may it cause performance issues ? Ignoring old paths, will it affect SEO ?
I'm trying to convert this HTML template (http://htmlcoder.me/preview/worthy/v.1.0/) to Drupal 7. Basically, it's a website with one page and multiple full width sections. I've created the .info file, imported the folders (img, css…) and imported the index.html to page.tpl.php and then I had a fully functional static website contained within Drupal.
Then, I’ve updated the page.tpl.php so that it renders the logo, slogan… from the dupal appearance section. It’s all working good.
Hi, I am new in drupal and I like test this script but my site is in wordpress and I like convert to drupal but I don't know how to do it. any help please for step by step
I've not researched the security issues with either system. It's possible that making a comparison is difficult to make but I'm interested in hearing any opinions or knowledge on the topic. I feel like I've heard before that Drupal had better security but I don't understand the basis for that. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.
