Converting to Drupal

I need your help. this is a word press site that I am Migrating to drupal. [link spam removed]. I want to create that "Filter by Industry" block that is in the right side bar on my drupal page and make it filter the news release entries according to what taxonomy is selected when creating the news release. what is the best way to accomplish this? I want it to be identical to the wordpress page as far as functionality.

Hope all of you are fine.I need a easy solution.It's all about my site.So please don't think me wrong.I actually not a developer/designer & have not much idea on it.I have a website about manufactured systems which is alive & running by html & perhaps on wordpress but not sure. I want to migrate the same existing content to drupal cms.Is it possible to convert from wordpress/html to drupal ?

I am from Cheluxe Media and our current website (http://www.cheluxe.com/it-services) is made using Wordpress 3.4.

However we plan to switch to using Drupal as we need better SEO and a more complex structure.

My question is should we develop the new site using Drupal 8 or stick with Drupal 7?

I tried my first D6 to D8 migration and my taxonomy did get transferred
and node do not have their taxonomies.
Is there a way to recreate the taxonomies from D6 into D8?

I am working on a migration from D6 to D8 and I got some problems that I do not know how to fix.
