Converting to Drupal

So I started a book to use as my faq page for tutorials.. etc..

So that first top level page will show in my main menu of the site and becomes an editable book page.. I would like all the child pages and sub children pages of this book to show on the top level page of the book automatically..

Is tehre some sort of php global command for the book that I can stick in the top level thats like

TOP LEVEL PAGE *browsed to from the menu*
-$phpbookchild
--$phpbooksubchildren

I'm in the early stages of converting from a phpBB installation with CH mod for a smallish site (2000 users, 200 000 posts at http://darklight.co.za).

One of the main reasons for adding and maintaining the CH mod is for new posts to be tracked regardless of whether users are members, log in or out or log in at different places (home, office etc.).

so if there is no convector would you please tell me where i can find some useful information about Drupal user and forum database system?

Has Drupal refined its ability to seamlessly (ie, without diving into the code or delving into the internal plumbing) import messages via RSS? One killer feature of WordPress (and this isn't a knock against Drupal) is the ability to import messages via RSS.

Hi Guys

After some kind of problems with my website - running phpNuke 7.8 - i started looking for a new portal.
I just found Drupal website and it looks like what i need - i run a portal with IT TechNews - posting informations about new beta-softwares and stuff like that.

After some googleing i found a nuke2drupal convert script - i did it work great except for some things i need some help.

My phpNuke have about 1590 users in database - and about 9,306 - News (content) on the front page. All thoses news are different categories.

On my own computer - i started a new Drupal 4.6.6 install - using the EasyPHP1.8.

I just made a dump of my webserver phpnuke database and import it on my computer, started the nuke2drupal script - http://www.quillem.com/nuke2drupal

1 - Well done - the users where imported without problem
2 - Start to import the News posts ( WoW ) all the posts where imported

But i got some problems.

1 -> My Website is Brazilian Portuguese - so all my posts are in Portuguese - with accents and so on.
--> Brazilian Codepage 1252 <---
On all posts with accent - it shows me an strange char like Chinese instead of accent like> á, é, í, ó, ú, ê, ç, â, ã, õ, ...

How do i Fix it ?

2 - > My News after import is not in categories like it was on phpNuke ( i had a image for each topic ) as i think someone knows how phpNuke Works. And the Date when it was posted on phpNuke is not working on Drupal - it is blank so it gives me an error on gmcdate if i´m not wrong - i had to manually add the date and time copying the item on the phpmyadmin.

Does vbDrupal works with Drupal 4.7?

If not, are there any available scripts or modules that can integrate Drupal 4.7 with vBulletin.

My vBulletin version is 3.5.4.
