Converting to Drupal

I am moving from my very own developed cms to drupal because Drupal is structured in quite the same way as my cms is. However Drupal caught up with me because it is being developed by a lot more people and the modules can be made by anybody. Great advantage there :)

So I will allow the readers of this forum to give me their observation about how this can be accomplished. Black Conscious News.com is a content based website, while Black Conscious Network.com is an Online Community.

The website operates underneath a CMS (now defunct) and uses SSI language to syndicate content. It is one of the few sites you can copy syndicated code and embed it into your website. There is a lot of flexibility in how you can use this code. For instance, you can have headlines with or without pictures. You can make headlines bold, italic or regular. And the amount of formating that is used is endless.

Another interesting thing about this website is that anyone can register to become a writer or content distributor. All that is done is that a person register's and log into their account.

I'm in the process of converting my website to Drupal and my main stumbling block is transferring my images which have data (author, comments, category etc...) attached to them.

How would I go about maintaining this data when transferring them in to Drupal ?

I have been trying to port a normal old HTML site into drupal. But I'm just having trouble figuring out what is the best way to go about things... One specific problem is the following page, which links to various products.

I'm not sure how to create this kinda content interface with the images of products linking to the actual products.

Hello there, i am currently migrating a phpkit/ccp based site which recently has been taken over by hackers to drupal. Luckily, we have a fairly recent backup of the state of the site before the intrusion.

The site consists of a pretty large set of pages which can (from a logical point of view) best be mapped into books, and a forum with a pretty complex structure.

I have already set up an empty forum in drupal and now want to fill in the data:
