Hey guys, Im currenty migrating a website to Drupal and am having a few issues with primary and secondary links. The way I need the site set up is to have a series of links at the top of the page in the header (primary), that when clicked load their own set of menu items in the left sidebar (secondary). There needs to be a different menu for each primary link as each primary link contains a seperate list of questions relating to each one. - then those items get loaded in the main part of the page.
I'm a newbie developer of a month of experience so far, and a client asked if I can convert their old website's customer mailing list (about 5000 names) into their new site that I've implemented for them in Drupal, with Simplenews installed for the email blast function. So far I've found out that their old mailing list is stored in a MSSQL database. What steps are involved in porting this mailing list into Drupal?
Hi. If I upload blog posts via the API with XMLRPC, is there a way to specify taxonomy tags right in the text itself? something like the commands used in MAILHANDLER:
type: page
taxonomy: [mail]
promote: 0
status: 1
At least the taxonomy would change with every post ....
Thank you
PS: Why in this forum? I have my docs in WORD and want to convert step by step to Drupal ... but until this is complete I still type in Word
I themed my primary links and after I log into my admin account on the website I get link like '...node/3', '...node/5'. But they should be '...reseller', '...suppliers'. Btw after I look through link in admin, primary link direct to incorrect place, say 'node/node/3', 'node/node/5' etc. I don't know how I can fix that.
I just started to convert a website to drupal and successfully installed and performed the essential configuration steps. After adding Primary links and setting their content page to node/add i clicked on one to setup the page. I added the body and title and left everything else at its default settings then clicked submit, which brought me to a blank page. Nothing displays and the browser says it Done loading the page. When i click on the same Primary link to try again, it wants me to create the page as if it didn't exist.
We are moving our site, www.icame.com to drupal cms, how difficult would you think it would be to move our design into drupal? Would you recommend professional help, some sort of guide out there? What is the cost range for a service like this?
