Converting to Drupal

Hi everyone,

I am a staff member at the University of Calgary who is reasonably familiar with Drupal. I currently maintain this site:

http://www.ucalgary.ca/GSA/

I worked with an architect in our IT department when I migrated this site over from FrontPage last year. I would like to know how to delete one of the red main tabs on the top of the page (specifically, the "Activities" tab). How do I do this?

Hello everyone,

I am moving from my old site (which used static pages and a Wordpress blog) to Drupal. The import of the old blog posts from drupal went fine. However, I need help with the new URL structure.

Before, my blog posts resided under

http://jstarek.de/blog/CATEGORY_NAME/DATE/TITLE

and the Wordpress import module has put the posts under

http://jstarek.de/CATEGORY_NAME/DATE/TITLE

Hi,
We want to re design our company site (http://www.libertyleague.com/) so we can provide more features to our customers. We would like the ability to offer a panel for our customers to track down their orders / feedbacks / complaints and even generate invoices if possible.We are searching the internet for the right solution and i ran across drupal.org. Is there any chance Drupal has these features ?

Hi,

I am already having site www.apsira.com, with following features.
- I have listed Colleges/Universities in India.
- I have listed all the degrees/ courses
- Blog (WordPress)
- Loan/Scholarship Guide
- Question Banks
- Quotes from Grate Personalities
- Lots of useful links related to Education
- News (Only related to education)

Also, I planed to give Forum, Articles, Poll & Ask Expert sections.

To implement all in on Framework I planed to use Drupal, but I am new for it. I have spent nearly a month to learn about drupal’s power.

Now I am expecting suggestions to implement this; particularly for Colleges & Courses Section.

Apsira have more than 12000+ pages mapped with Google and same like more search engines. Also have lots of in links to Apsira.

Here, will be my questions:
1) Whether I have to develop new modules to have same featured college (kindly visit few links at http://www.apsira.com/colleges) details or Is it possible to get this with custom content type with taxonomies? (Hints: We may expect more than 50,000+ colleges, hope it will reduce performance if we used taxonomy [give your opinion on this!])
2) Same thing have to do for Degrees/Courses (kindly visit few links at http://www.apsira.com/courses) [I have integrated courses with colleges]

" www.encoders.co.in " is it possible to change the site in drupal ? ? if it possible then how much it will take in $$??
