Need help migrating your site to Drupal?

Error message "Warning: Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated"

I am converting a page from a site that is mainly php code and I get the message:

Warning: Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated in ...\drupal\includes\common.inc(1645) : eval()'d code on line 697

What does this error message mean and what should I do about it?

Slightly botched import of forum topics from bbPress

Decided upon Drupal after attempting several other mechanisms to serve the needs of my growing membership website. One of the tools I needed to migrate away from was bbPress as a forum tool.

I located and ran this importer after modifying it heavily to accommodate my table names, etc.

Converting site built in FrontPage to Drupal

We are planning to convert an old site originally built in MS FrontPage to Drupal. My questions are..

I'm in the process of migrating a huge static site and a WebCalendar installation to Drupal 6 using the Calendar module (among others). I'm hoping someone with views experience can point me in the right direction. Here's the scenario:

I have about 15 categories for events, many of which coincide with departments in our institution. I'll need to apply various (not exposed) filters to calendar views throughout the site (upcoming, this week, etc). I can accomplish this in several ways:
