Hello everyone!
I am new user to drupal currently using drupal 6.10 stable version.
I intalled drupal because I want more than a blog from my site & heard from everyone that drupal is very powerful cms.
But unfortunately things are not like i hoped.
I have some questions and problems hopefully you will help me out.
I moved from wordpress to drupal I migrated through wordpress import module.
Is there a simple way to relocate my main content menu from the top most row in the header to the bottom row so that it appears just above my content (as is the typical destination for the main menu of many websites)
On the beginning I would like to apologize for some confusion that might come with my not so good "english".
I like to import menu (strictly whole site) from Joomla 1.015 to Drupal (I'm trying Drupal 5.16, but I can consider 6.x). I've tried three helpful import modules, but none of them done it well.
Problem is that I don't understand where Drupal is storing DB of Categories, Vocabularies and Terms. I tried to figure it out by digging deep into DB with PHPMyAdmin, but I failed to solve it.
I have an existing website created using RapidWeaver and would like to temporarily integrate it into a Drupal site until I've converted all the RW pages into Nodes. Access to the RW site has been done using .htaccess file but I would like Drupal to handle all the authentication so that users don't have to log into the main Drupal site and then again in order to access the RW pages. Is this possible?
Specifically, questions are the following:
- Can the RW site be placed in a sub-directory of the Drupal installation and be accessed only by authorized members of the Drupal site? (Will the files and folders within this directory be protected from being accessed by anyone even if they have the absolute path to them?)
- Can the index.html page of the RW site be accessed from a menu item or from within a node in the Drupal site?
-the RW site uses SSL and resides in a folder called 'Secure' on our Webhosting provider's directories. If I need to move it out of this folder and into subfolder of the Drupal installation in order to protect the files and utilize Drupal access control, do I need to use something like Secure Pages module to maintain SSL?
I have been working on creating some kind of module or using one already made to store some employee data which they will be the only ones that can see. I have a unique employee # for each person and I am trying create a CCK field for things I want to store like last name, date of birth, etc... I only want that employee to see that information not everyone. Of course someone in the HR department would need to see this. Will the Views module allow me to do this??
