A little background: our site was Wordpress & vBulletin and some glue to make Wordpress articles link to forum threads.
We've moved to Drupal and managed to migrate in all the Wordpress articles, but didn't manage to get the old urls to migrate in.
However, I created a cck field and stored the old url for each imported article in that cck field.
Here's the question: how can I take the value in the cck field of each of these articles and (after some cleanup), add them to each imported node as an additional alias?
The host is throwing me off the server cause the pligg script takes up too many resources. Installed Drupal and the Drigg module, but cannot access the pligg importer. Please create a category in your drupal system! I added a category, but I still cannot start the pligg importer. Can anyone assist in telling me what I need to do here?
My site SportCityRider - Motorcycle News, Blogs & Community is basically a Motorcycle community with a twist . emphasis on News in the industry.
I have been thinking of migrating the entire site over to a more traditional blog aka Joomla / Wordpress / Drupal.
hello every one
i am new to CMS and drupal so before start learning i want to clear somethings
i have created a project using PHP/mysql. the project is for some business organization which also includes accounting system and a custom database.
so i want to know that from where to start that
how can i create and post my own forms to my own database?
or i need to add my tables into drupal default databse?
till now i have learned some basics of drupal like installation, content creation and user management etc
I am moving my hosting company and want to migrate what I have already developed. I have moved the drupal code to the new hosting site. I have created the database and taken a dump of the old database and loaded it on the new website. When I try to bring up drupal it fails.. I get the following error..
